A home in the Highlands
Community groups have been enjoying Dennis Oliver's
entertaining and informative presentations for three decades
- in Canada, Northeast England, and now in Scotland. Three
comments are typical: "That's so fascinating / so helpful."
"It really moved me." "You've made me think!" Dennis'
illustrated talks and concerts are filled with stories and
practical life applications, based on thorough research and
positive emotions - enriched up by authentic images and
(often) music. Many involve collaborations with other
Glasgow talents.

The Aging
Adventure
Alopen:
Amazing
Both were born to privilege, and
both renounced it for a far more
rewarding life. They affirmed the
sacredness of all life and unity of
all that is, demonstrating the
power of compassion and the
practicality of a life wholly
concentrated on positive values
and transcendental aspirations.
Exploring
A performance of "Freedom
Railroad" - telling the story of how
thousands of slaves escaped to
freedom in Canada:
a rich variety of authentic period
stories, songs, illustrations and
poems. We also offer a variety of
presentations on related themes
and content.
Presenting the stories of well
publicised explorers plus the
unacknowledged adventures
who can inspire but but also
sadden the human heart. A feast
of words, images and music
presented by a talented team.
"You're not getting any younger!"
It's true for all us. A talented team
presents songs, poems and prose
reflections on a process that can
be wonderfully positive. This
program is tailored to suit the
nature of our audience, so contact
us and tell us why this title
appealed to you.
Alopen was the first missionary to
China. He met the first Tang
Emperor who, amazingly,
welcomed and sponsored him in
a creative rewriting of the Bible
(which has been discovered and
now translated). We discover how
China changed the missionary
more than he changed China.
